Shotokan Week 2021

9 & 10 October in your State

Last year in place of Shotokan Week, due to varying restrictions around the country, the SKIA National Executive arranged for a National Seminar delivered via Zoom with SKIF Honbu Dojo instruction. This year we expect none of us will be in lockdown within a State and should be able to train as normal. Therefore, the SKIA National Executive is proposing to host a hybrid National Seminar Weekend on the weekend of 9 & 10 October where we ask your own State bodies to arrange for your Dojos to come together. Training, social activities and potentially gradings can be held in each State. The teaching offered will be a combination of Zoom training from SKIF Honbu, potentially Zoom with senior instructors in Australia, as well as local instructions on the ground within your own States. For the smaller States we can consider some options. We will be coming up with a schedule in consultation with the National T&D to propose for the National Seminar Weekend.
